First and foremost, to provide a simple way for guys & girls to get prayed for. It can be anonymous, upfront, detailed or simple, and about anything you need prayer for. Just take a step out and allow yourself to be prayed for, and leave the rest up to God. Amazing things can be accomplished through prayer and I invite you to experience and trust God in that.

This sites focus is on issues of lust, in order to give encouragement in that area and to challenge you to desire to be free from it. Lustful desires are the secret sin of the Christian community. For the most part, it isn’t discussed. Guilt, shame and embarrassment keep men (and women) from talking about it, and ultimately, freedom from it. Yes, it’s awkward to talk about. Yes, it is worth it to talk about. It needs to be brought into the light.

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

I think it is fair to say that most men have struggled with lust at least once in their lifetime. Unfortunately, for most guys, it is much more than that, and a constant battle that seems to be a losing one. Pornography, masturbation, a sexual dating relationship, an ungodly view of women; these things have become part of our lives. So what’s the deal? If you are a Christian, then you have been called out of sin to lead a new life in Christ. Youare not purposed to be enslaved to these empty desires.

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of you souls.” 1 Peter 2:24-25

What’s happened? Have we not been truly set free? No, that is far from the truth. The Bible recognizes that our sinful desires are a real and present problem. The word also recognizes that it is a powerful force.

“Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.” 1 Peter 2:11

“So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.” Romans 7:21-23

And guess what? Christ was tempted as a man, just like us. He understands. He knows what we’re going through because He went through it too. While Jesus remained sinless, the bible shows us that He is not some distant God who doesn’t know our temptations.

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin.” Hebrews 4:15

Yet addiction to pornography and other lust issues still rage within men who proclaim Christ as their savior. Even though we have been redeemed from our sin, the presence of temptation and sin is not gone. What is the purpose of this site? To be an instrument to encourage you to no longer be a slave to lustful desires. To man up — to take a stand — to take action; to talk; to do something. So get talking. Ask questions. Take advantage of the prayer wall, which is the core of this ministry. We recognize that a change of heart, given to you by the grace of God, is the only thing that will truly free you from lust. This a place to talk with others, encourage each other, pray for each other, and to stop hiding behind our sin.

Freedom is ours through Christ!  What are you going to do with your freedom? Cry out to God; He listens, and responds. Pray for a changed heart.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourself be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1

“Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit away from me.” Psalm 51:9-11

“Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.” Psalm 4:1
